IR (to go) in the past tense: A very irregular verb Irregular verbs follow no pattern, unlike regular verbs. To form a regular verb, you just take off the infinitive ending (ar/er/ir) and add the correct ending for who you are talking about. To form an irregular verb, you just have to learn all the different bits by heart. And they tend to be the most important/commonly used verbs.
¿Adónde fuiste? Where did you go?
¿Cómo fuiste? How did you get there?
¿Qué hiciste? What did you do?
¿Qué tal lo pasaste? What sort of time did you have?
